What is Auto Insurance?
Auto insurance helps you to protect you and your family against financial loss in the event of an accident or other cause of loss. It covers the injuries and damages caused by an accident and for which you are legally responsible. It may also cover the costs of repairing or replacing your vehicle if it is damaged or stolen.
What if I don't have car insurance?
In most states, you're required to carry a minimum amount of liability insurance (or post a bond) and also provide proof of insurance before you can license your vehicle or renew your driver's license. If you are caught driving without car insurance, you may have to pay a large fine, have your driver's license suspended, and/or have your car impounded. Contact us today to find out what the specific requirements are in Oklahoma for car insurance quotes
How much Auto insurance coverage should I purchase?
The required minimum coverage may not be enough to pay for all the damages that result from an accident, and the legally responsible driver will have to pay the additional expenses out of pocket. You may want to speak with an agent to discuss the best auto insurance coverage for your needs and budget.
How can I keep my auto premiums down?
Generally, the longer you drive without major citations or accidents, the lower your premium will be. You may also qualify for discounts based on safety features on your vehicle. A.D.Young Insurance Agency also offers an Annual Policy which keeps your rates stable for the entire year. We calculate your insurance costs for the year, and you don't have to worry about changes for a whole 12 months. Furthermore, with our Flex Program you can lock in your base rates, and qualify for accident forgiveness for up to 3 years. Also, if you insure additional cars or your home you can save on all your premiums. For further information, contact A.D.Young Insurance Agency at 580-512-6403 or click here to send Aaron an email.

Types of Auto Insurance Coverage
Liability insurance coverage helps you to protect you and your family against financial loss arising from legal liability associated with bodily injury or property damage of another due to an accident you cause. Most states require you to carry a minimum amount of liability insurance coverage, or post a bond, before you can register your vehicle or obtain a driver's license.
• Bodily Injury Bodily Injury coverage covers the expenses associated with other people's injuries or death for which you are legally responsible. Coverage includes medical expenses, loss of income and pain and suffering. These coverage's are subject to the limits and conditions of your policy. Most states require drivers to carry Bodily Injury coverage. • Property Damage
Following an accident for which you are legally responsible, Property Damage covers your liability for damaging another person's personal property, such as an automobile, house or fence.
Collision coverage covers the damage to your vehicle resulting from a collision with another vehicle or object. Generally, the coverage reimburses you the amount needed to repair or replace your damaged vehicle, minus the deductible you select. This coverage is normally required if your vehicle is leased or if you have an outstanding loan on the vehicle.
Comprehensive coverage protects your investment in your vehicle by covering losses to the car resulting from fire, theft, falling objects, riots, storms, earthquakes, floods, and collision with a bird or animal. Like Collision coverage, Comprehensive coverage generally includes a deductible which you select. Comprehensive coverage is normally required if your vehicle is leased or if you have an outstanding loan on the vehicle.
• Customized Equipment Coverage Under the Comprehensive and Collision portion of your auto insurance policy, optional equipment (a CD player or navigation system) is automatically covered if it is permanently installed in the opening of the dash where the manufacturer would normally install such equipment.
This coverage pays medical bills and funeral expenses for you or a passenger injured in an accident while riding in your vehicle. Coverage extends to you or a family member when riding as a passenger in someone else's vehicle or when struck by a vehicle when on foot. Costs are covered up to the amount specified by the policy. Fault or No-Fault
If you live in a no-fault state, your own insurance company indemnifies you for any loss or injuries to you, no matter who causes the accident. In general, no-fault can limit your right to sue to recover damages. Also, Personal Injury Protection (PIP) is generally required in no-fault states. PIP covers a broader range of medical costs than standard Medical Payments coverage. It covers lost wages and the replacement of the services of someone injured in a covered accident. In states other than no-fault, the person at fault in the accident pays and may be indemnified by the insurance company. With a fault system, your right to sue is not restricted (nor is the other party's right to sue you). To find out more, contact us today. It may be a statute not a regulation and an agent cannot comment on the law.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage
Uninsured Motorist coverage covers you, insured members of your household and your passengers in an accident with a motorist who has no insurance or is underinsured. It also provides coverage if you're hit by a hit-and-run driver and applies to you and the insured members of your household, even as pedestrians. Coverage includes payment of medical costs, lost wages and pain and suffering. It is required in many states. This coverage typically covers any difference between what the other at fault driver's insurance covers and the costs of your bodily injuries, up to the limits of the policy.

What to Look For in a Collectible Auto Insurance Policy
If you own an antique/classic, or modified automobile, you know it's more than just another car. You may want to look for specialized coverages that aren't always available under standard automobile policies. Coverages that are as special as your collectible auto. Including:
- Customized Policies – Your insurance carrier should allow you to choose the coverages that are right for you.
- No Deductible – Your insurance carrier should not require a deductible on your collectible auto
- No Mileage Limitation – Your insurance carrier should not deny you coverage in the case of a covered loss because of miles driven.
